About Me
Hello, I'm Falk Malisch
I was born in 1989 and grew up in Dresden, Germany. My style could be described as western traditional. I like to do large-scale work as well as small tattoos. Apart from tattooing and drawing, I like to travel, be active outside, play drums, or just try out new things.
My Apprenticeship
I've liked to draw since I was a kid and got fascinated by tattoos when I saw them at hardcore and punk rock shows as a teenager. So, I started drawing tattoo designs over the years with some advice from a friend in my hometown, but it got more focused in 2015 when I started apprenticing at Lowbrow Tattoo Parlour in Berlin Friedrichshain under Matthias Böttcher. Also, Sebastian Domaschke was there to give me advice and answered every question I had. It was a great learning experience in a creative and nurturing environment.
Artwork
I'm painting a lot of flash sheets and also bigger projects in watercolor, aiming for classic designs with a fresh and dynamic touch. I get inspiration from various sources, and I'm always happy to try out new things.
Future Plans
I would love to put out a book with my paintings and split sheets, which I did with friends over the past years. Also, I plan on doing more guest spots in Europe, exploring our continent, and possibly settling down somewhere with a permanent base.
